    No, Payhawk is not a bank. On July 11, 2023, Payhawk was granted an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license by the Bank of Lithuania, and on January 13, 2024, it received an EMI license from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). These licenses authorize Payhawk to provide payment services, including issuing corporate cards. Additionally, Payhawk is a principal member of Visa and a registered agent of licensed e-money institutions in the EU/EEA and the UK. ​
    Yes, employees can use the Payhawk Receipts Mailbox to send invoices related to purchases. When an invoice includes the purchase number and is sent to the Receipts Mailbox, Payhawk’s optical character recognition (OCR) system will extract the data and automatically link the invoice to the corresponding purchase. If the purchase number cannot be read, the invoice can be manually linked to the purchase. ​
    No, Payhawk does not support opening multiple debit or credit accounts in the same currency for separate budget allocations. However, EEA and UK customers can open debit accounts in the same currencies as their GBP and EUR credit lines. Currently, there is no option to customize who receives email alerts for low funds; these reminders are sent to all Payhawk administrators.
